Get Your Swim On!

Hi my bathing beauties!  I wanted to share the exciting news on this amazing new state-of-the-art swimwear site that will be launching on November 23rd!  The new online hot spot for all things swim is www.swimspot.com.  I was privileged to be invited to the RAJ Showroom Swim Retreat Suite where I had the chance to view the latest in everthing swimwear by luxury designer & creative director Lisa Vogel, Guess, Ella Moss and St. John, just to name a few!

As women, finding that perfect suit can sometimes seem like a daunting task, but my spirits and hopes were certainly lifted at the RAJ Showroom.  Lisa Vogel’s Luxe 2010 Swim Collection was absolutely sexy, gorgeous and her attention to detail is impeccable.  My favorites were the leopard print pieces with fire red accents and a gorgeous water-color string bikini to-die-for.  No apprehensions about feeling confident at the beach in one of Lisa’s designs!  The Luxe Collection also encompasses transitional dresses that can easily go from poolside to table-side or a chic nightspot.  From LA, to Manhattan’s Soho House Pool, the Hamptons or a tropical holiday, these suits are a definite style “do.”

I also adored the Guess 2010 Swim collection.  Think sultry pin-up!  Denim-look pieces cut to flatter, string bikini tops with the latest enhancing technology, bright Hawaiian florals, cheery pink polka-dots, bikinis, tankinis, sassy-cuts….a mix & match plethora of super-stylish options.  I could easily picture the positive feedback on the beach or pool while wearing one of these hot swimwear winners.

After viewing the various swim collections, I was given a full-on tour of the innovative www.swimspot.com website.  As we all know, there was a true need for a real swimwear site like this.  This site is above and beyond anything you fashionistas have ever seen before! Not only can you browse the latest and greatest suits from designers like Hurley, St. John, Ella Moss, Next, Splendid, Athena, Tommy Hilfiger, Luxe, Reef and Guess, but you can virtually create your own swimsuit!  Yes, ladies you can actually create a suit that fits and flatters your shape like no-other!  You can easily stand-out from your friends at the beach with a gorgeous suit that you chose for yourself.  Daily Fashionista is very excited about the launch of www.swimspot.com.  In addition, there is a unique press area of the site where stylists show you what swimwear is being worn by the celebrities of the moment, editorial pages and other hepful information.  The flexible return policies, a very user-friendly size guide page, and easy click links all make this site stand way above any other we have ever seen here at Daily Fashionista.

The afternoon also consisted of delicious Crumbs NYC cupcakes(a fashionista favorite), uber-chic manicures by M2M,and chatter amongst top celebrity stylists, magazine editors, writers and bloggers.  We enjoyed getting our bling-on at the manicure station. The manicure du jour was the BlackBerry Bling manicure in which your fingers are painted a deep rich bordeaux shade and your thumbs (which you use to type with) are a shiny metallic gold.  We giggled and then went for it!  Fashion is supposed to be fun, ladies.
