Hi, everyone I had the opportunity to stop by the Emiliani Beauty event with celebrity make-up artist Carol Hanna.  I have to say, that I was overwhelmed by the presence of so many amazing beauty-brands, celebrities and industry professionals all gathered in one massive space!  OPI, Paul Mitchell and Moroccan Oil were just some of the fabulous companies that had their latest on display! Also, running all day were various fashion shows, and of course true to form this fashionista had to join in on some of the festivities. As most of you know, I hail from the Garden State and try to show my support for events that take place here as well as in New York City!  It was also great to see Tracy DiMarco one of my favorite stars of the E! and Style Network show ‘Jerseylicious’ along with some of my other favorite reality TV stars and radio personalities. A sincere thank-you to Maria Cucciniello and Chrissy Colombino from ‘The Hip Event’ for this stylish invitation!

Recently, Emiliani Enterprises hosted their annual Beauty Show, Vision Becomes Reality at the NJ Convention Center in Edison, NJ. The biggest and best hair stylists in the industry were in attendance: Michael O’Rourke, Phillip Wilson, and more. During the three day event guests were able to enjoy stage performances from their favorite hairdressers, and participate in education classes in the “hands on arena.” Throughout the day guests attended cutting and styling classes, and purchased the latest beauty products that top exhibitors were showcasing at discounted rates. The event kicked off Saturday, October 15th at 6:30pm with a charity reception for Project Ladybug founded by reality star Dina Manzo of HGTV’s Dina’s Party, former RHONJ star.  VIP guests enjoyed a cocktail hour and snacked on some hors d’ oeuvres while waiting for the amazing one hour presentation from Philip Wilson. Dina Manzo was presented a check from the Emiliani team for $5,000 dollars, from the money they raised by the cut-a-thon events participation salons hosted.  After the show all guests got an exclusive preview of the salon floor while some of today’s hottest Reality-TV stars stopped by the media booth like Anthony Lombardi and Christy Pereira from Jerseylicious, and Carla Marie from Elvis Duran and the Morning Show, NY’s hit radio station, Z100.

Hi, everyone!! A true ‘fashionista’ or ‘fashionisto’ believes in the safety of all living creatures!!  Leave it to the creator of PoshBoutique Montville, Jairo Arias to create an event celebrating both fashion and charity in the most unique way. This sparkling, sexy and fashion forward evening was held to benefit the New Jersey Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.  The season’s hottest swimwear looks from Cuban designer Christina Sanchez graced the runway including debuts of her Summer 2012 Collection. Bold cuts, vibrant colors and Latin flavor dominated the evening as gorgeous models strutted their stuff in the sultriest of bikinis — I almost thought I was in South Beach, Miami for a moment! The event was hosted by the blond beauty Jacquelina Bianchi from Style Network’s Jerseylicious (who, I might add is a really great role model).

I had the pleasure of attending this event with designer Mandy Esposito and Gina Cappozza of DailyFashionista.com.  As we entered the venue UPtown – I knew I was in for quite a night! I also spotted the lovely Nicole Amy of Nicole Amy Fragrances, actor/writer Will Love, entrepreneur Phil Amato of the NJSPCA and Tanya Jessica of luxe handbag-brand Sorial. I love events that are thrown in New York City, but you would be surprised by the exciting events that my New Jersey contacts host as well.

I was immediately greeted by the hottest beats spun by DJ Andrew Mendez and beautiful models body-painted to look like animals (breath-taking). Hairstylist Samantha Maxcy was styling and creating looks that were very Brigitte Bardot inspired. Tropical drinks set the mood and the stylish crowd anticipated one of the hottest runway shows of the Summer to begin! Jairo Arias owner of PoshBoutique Montville styles some very famous faces and (ahem) bodies, too — Melissa Gorga, Kathy Wakile and Teresa and Joe Giudice (all from ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey’) can be found perusing the racks at the boutique at any given time. Peggy Tanous (‘The Real Housewives of Orange County’),  Jacquelina Bianchi and Olivia Blois Sharpe from ‘Jerseylicious’, performing artist Mya and TV personalities such as Rachel Diaz (levantate , Primer Impacto Telemundo) are all devoted fans of Arias & his wares.

Arias believes that a woman has the right to dress sexy if she chooses and that some husbands have even thanked him for making certain their wives look fabulous! Recently, a project that I have created for fun, with my friend Jaime Page of ‘Red Carpet Brownies‘, has caused quite the ‘buzz’ on the web! Titled “Dishin It Out in NJ“ is a v-blog series and  the premise of the show is to merge ‘Jerseylebrity’ with ‘Italian cuisine’ to form what can only be described as an incredibly juicy, eyebrow-raising, and controversial product – in more ways than one! The first two episodes, which were lighter in both content and mood, featured interviews with Alina Leshiner and Michael Craft.  Alina, Fashion Director of the famous POSCHE Boutique – professional Stylist and Buyer, was finally able to showcase a side of her that viewers don’t see on “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.”  Quite possibly the program’s biggest enigma, in our debut episode– fans were able to discover Alina’s fashion background, as well as her future aspirations and gain styling tips. The second episode featured noted photographer, Michael Craft of the New Jersey Equality (NJEQ) Campaign. Featured at Kim D’s “Birthday Extravaganza,” and set to play a big role at her 3rd Annual Fashion Show in September, Michael was able to give viewers a larger perspective on the purpose of the campaign, as well as share interesting facets on his photography background, including photographing the saucy Teresa Giudice.

In one of the latest episodes, which set the bar on what to expect next in the series, ‘Kim D.’ welcomed the #DIONJ (Dishin It Out in NJ) crew into her lovely home. While drinking homemade wine made by Joe Giudice, Kim gave her raw opinion on everything from fashions to fan favorites, and answered everything that fans of the ‘Housewives’ franchise are dying to know about both her & the other Jersey girls.
