The 2011 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show was bigger this year than ever!

With performances by Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, Maroon 5 and a surprise performance by Jay-Z there were more A-Listers lining the runway this year — than ever before! Sitting front row to support her hubby was Beyonce looking angelic in a white floor-length gown. Just across the runway was Cuba Gooding, Jr. and Russell Simmons, Donna Karan, Orlando Bloom, actor Stephen Dorff, “True Blood” star Joe Manganiello (in G-Star), Alex Pettyfer, singer O’Neal McKnight, “Blondie” singer Debbie Harry, LaLa Vasquez, model Tyson Beckford and so many more!

At the official after party at The Dream Downtown, VS Angels including Miranda Kerr, Chanel Iman, Alessandra Ambrosio, Doutzen Kroes and Adriana Lima walked the pink carpet posing for “HOT SHOTS” while guests sipped Perrier Jouet champagne and specialty Chambord cocktails and passed hor d’oeuvres.

Also partying at The Gallery at The Dream Downtown — incognito — were Hollywood heavyweights Jake Gyllenhaal and Leonardo DiCaprio (sitting at separate tables on each side of DJ Jus Ske).

Hi, everyone I had the opportunity to stop by the Emiliani Beauty event with celebrity make-up artist Carol Hanna.  I have to say, that I was overwhelmed by the presence of so many amazing beauty-brands, celebrities and industry professionals all gathered in one massive space!  OPI, Paul Mitchell and Moroccan Oil were just some of the fabulous companies that had their latest on display! Also, running all day were various fashion shows, and of course true to form this fashionista had to join in on some of the festivities. As most of you know, I hail from the Garden State and try to show my support for events that take place here as well as in New York City!  It was also great to see Tracy DiMarco one of my favorite stars of the E! and Style Network show ‘Jerseylicious’ along with some of my other favorite reality TV stars and radio personalities. A sincere thank-you to Maria Cucciniello and Chrissy Colombino from ‘The Hip Event’ for this stylish invitation!

Recently, Emiliani Enterprises hosted their annual Beauty Show, Vision Becomes Reality at the NJ Convention Center in Edison, NJ. The biggest and best hair stylists in the industry were in attendance: Michael O’Rourke, Phillip Wilson, and more. During the three day event guests were able to enjoy stage performances from their favorite hairdressers, and participate in education classes in the “hands on arena.” Throughout the day guests attended cutting and styling classes, and purchased the latest beauty products that top exhibitors were showcasing at discounted rates. The event kicked off Saturday, October 15th at 6:30pm with a charity reception for Project Ladybug founded by reality star Dina Manzo of HGTV’s Dina’s Party, former RHONJ star.  VIP guests enjoyed a cocktail hour and snacked on some hors d’ oeuvres while waiting for the amazing one hour presentation from Philip Wilson. Dina Manzo was presented a check from the Emiliani team for $5,000 dollars, from the money they raised by the cut-a-thon events participation salons hosted.  After the show all guests got an exclusive preview of the salon floor while some of today’s hottest Reality-TV stars stopped by the media booth like Anthony Lombardi and Christy Pereira from Jerseylicious, and Carla Marie from Elvis Duran and the Morning Show, NY’s hit radio station, Z100.

Having attended many New York City fashion shows, I have to say that Fashion & Beauty Week certainly showcases that New Jersey also is a place where style truly thrives! Fashion & Beauty Week which is founded by beauty genius Jack Panico went-off without a hitch held at the picturesque Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange, NJ — as top designers showed their wares to the public and celebrities alike. The roster of featured talent was quite impressive including; Esposito, Ari, Bound & Tide, Devon Thomas, Jay Godfrey, Jensen Martin, Marisa Kenson, Monique Lhuillier, Pamela Dennis, Sandra Baquero and Teresa Rosati.

The crowd comprised of fashionistas, media, celebrities such as Joe Piscopo, Melissa Gorga of RHONJ, Jonathan Cheban of E! - The Spin Crowd,  and Joumana Kidd among others filled the gorgeous space in anticipation for this exciting evening to begin!  Center stage was lit as the Esposito Spring/Summer 2012 Collection commenced as two gorgeous brunette bombshells were strutting the runway to “You Give Me Fever” by the legendary Elvis Presley.  The female models were styled with the Esposito Collection shirts paired over lacy lingerie and it most certainly grabbed everyones attention!  The key to this line is that it’s a menswear line that is so strong — that even a woman can wear her man’s button down on occasion! Next up, masculine male models walked the runway in Esposito pieces that comprised of sleek button down shirts with signature red accent at collar and cuffs, old-school inspired smoking jackets/blazers, shirts accented with red, zippers and texture. The overall vibe of the show, was much like the designer Amanda Esposito, herself- alluring, powerful and ever-so-stylish! Joining Ms. Esposito was her graphic designer – Gina Capozza who had a hand in many of the intricate details of the show.  The looks of the night and of this show inspired me to let out my inner sex siren as her female models exuded a sultry smolder with loose waved hair and a sexy red-pout.  At the Esposito Fashion & Beauty Week Spring/Summer 2012 Collection finale, the designer took a bow with the models standing proudly in her latest men’s collection! We’ll be looking out for new developments regarding this line, including an innovative online boutique Esposito will be launching soon! Inspired by a time, when men knew ‘how to dress’ — I loved the concept of the looks thrown with a modern twist. I could easily imagine women beginning to swoon as their man arrives for a date in one of the Esposito Collection blazers!

Georges Duboeuf taps Brooklyn artist ‘Kaves’ to encourage aspiring artists to “Be Heard.”

Have you ever felt like you were ignored, not understood and not heard. Well, that’s not going to happen anymore! It’s time for people to stop, listen and recognize what you want to say! Nouveau Expression-Be Heard invites artistically inspired consumers (age 21 or older) to make a statement through art. French wine producer Georges Duboeuf has launched a collaboration with renowned Brooklyn artist Michael McLeer, a.k.a. ‘Kaves,’ to encourage consumers to make a statement through any medium art form. This is a multi-media art contest that asks consumers to share a personal artistic expression for a chance to win a place in the Nouveau Expression Art Exhibit in New York City, on November 16-17, 2011. A grand prize winner will win a trip for two to attend the Exhibit in person! They want to see those talents, want you to express yourself and “Be Heard.”

Consumers can submit original works of art, poetry, sculpture, fashion, dance, music or film on the Georges Duboeuf Facebook Fan Page http://www.facebook.com/georgesduboeuf. With the fall season upon us and the lazy, hazy, relaxed days of summer behind us — it’s time to polish up and sharpen your fall look. Men, I’m going to be honest with you. Yes, you’re indeed thinking correctly! Recently, I had the opportunity to spend some time with Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, his brother Frank and the rest of the Sorrentino crew at a recent Devotion Vodka event held at the Trendy 46 Lounge  located in Northern, NJ. To be honest, I have been given the opportunity through DailyFashionista.com and my work as a Style Editor & writer to meet many celebrities and fashion icons. Some are very nice to their fans and other celebrities lack. Not only, was the entire Sorrentino family very welcoming to the media that evening — I personally saw Mike gladly take photos with all of his fans! There were quite a few people that came out to meet him that night at the 46 Lounge and it was organized with the utmost professionalism. Mike was dressed to “the nines” in a GQ type outfit complete with crisp, blue tailored button-down shirt which showcased those gorgeous eyes of his, a stylish dark wash-jean and a really fierce vest ( I was quite impressed).  His handsome brother Frank (who has been working on a new clothing line for Mike) was also rocking a uber chic vest, a great pair of jeans and both were wearing their trademark Luxury Laces accessories (not to self: I really need some Luxury Laces to spice up my next outfit). Frank and Mike also were rocking the hottest shades from The Eye Shoppe which is their favorite eye-wear store! I guess these guys know how to shade themselves from the glaring lights of the paparazzi with total style!

I have to say, that sipping tasty Devotion Vodka mixed-drinks certainly added to the cool vibe of the evening and the fans were also in for a treat as Mike ‘The Situation“, himself took to the turntables and spun a few scorching-hot beats.  Speaking of the hottest beats, their other brother Marc is an up and coming DJ with a massive fan following, already! Who can blame the ladies — let’s face it, these guys are all handsome, smart business-men and know how to throw a top-notch bash!! I’m looking forward to meeting their gorgeous sister Melissa and pretty mother Linda — sometime in the near future.

I was curious after reading the complimentary mention about The Sorrentino’s in Page Six recently to see if they really are that cordial. The truth is — this family is the real deal. I had the opportunity to interview Kim Kardashian during New York Fashion Week when she debuted her line for bebe and she was so pleasant to speak with. The Sorrentino family are most definitely the new Kardashians! I also hear that the Sorrentino’s mother Linda (who is gorgeous) is a positive force for the family. I can’t wait to see what other exciting projects they have in the works! As an added note, I of course took a shot of Mike showing off his famous abs — owwwww! Handsome celebrity photographer Dave Kotinsky who had just returned from snapping photos of the Sorrentino family in Las Vegas was also there to capture all of the action! Now, that’s a situation!!
