With the summer season in full-swing it was time to plan a weekend get-away. While I do enjoy the Hamptons, there are certain places at the Jersey shore that are just as enjoyable. That slice of heaven is known as The Beacon House in Sea Girt, New Jersey. This picturesque inn located a corner in from Sea Girt beach is definitely a must visit for those traveling to the shores of New Jersey. This actually isn’t our first time here and there is a reason we keep coming back. It’s one of those stand-out places that you know delivers every time. There is a reason why USA Today and the Washington Post gave Beacon gleaming reviews.
Our room (pictured below) was decorated in a beachy motif as are all of the rooms. Ours came with a great balcony overlooking the glistening pool. It was so nice at night to sleep with the sliding door slightly open and breathe in that fresh sea air! We awoke to the smell of Candy’s fresh breakfast. The upside down french toast, coffee, fresh fruit are delicious and this comes with your room stay. This property is appealing to both couples, singles and families because there are various areas where it is completely quiet (a real gem of importance when going away).
Want to go for a bike ride along the coast or beautiful streets? Need a beach chair? Want to find out the best restaurants in the area to dine at? Candy of the Beacon House Inn offers bikes, chairs and a handy list of must visits when in the area. If you’re looking for a great escape from the hectic streets of New York or just want to go for a besties get-away this is the place to be. I also tried Botran Aged Rum for the first time while on vacation and I really liked it!
