Sweet Peach Makeup Look

written by Dana April 26, 2016

With the spring season here and flowers blooming in the New York metropolitan area, I was feeling inspired to share this makeup look. Too Faced Cosmetics is a great line that encourages women to have fun and go glam! This look was mainly created with some of the key Too Faced products featured in the photo below. This look is all about a fresh peach, bronzey glow and can be worn from day to night. Here are the beauty details:

Step one: I heard a lot of great things about the Too Faced Born This Way foundation. I have to say, I love the finish. When applying this foundation, I used a damp Beauty Blender and think it looks pretty flawless. The foundation gives a skin-like appearance and slight sheen, so I did set it with a light dusting of powder after application. It’s a nice foundation and performs well.

Step two: There was a lot of buzz surrounding the Too Faced Sweet Peach palette and I was fortunate enough to get the last one at my local Ulta Beauty. The colors are gorgeous and they blend well. For this spring-time look, I used White Peach all over the lid to my brow bone, then I blended Candied Peach on the outer portion of my lid and placed a slight bit of Summer Yum in the crease. I then lined my lower lash line with Bless Her Heart. I went for a more subtle look, but to each their own with this palette and you can go soft or go bold.

Step three: With the name Better Than Sex, you would imagine that this mascara from Too Faced would work really well. I received a sample in a holiday gift and was eager to use it for this look. This mascara gave the perfect length and volume to my lashes. It definitely gave this look that something to make it really pop! Spring time is the best time for come hither lashes.

Step four:  I used the Sun Bunny bronzer to warm up the perimeters of my face, contour my cheeks, and give my skin that soft bronzed glow. This is one of my favorite bronzers and I’ve even hit pan on it! I also used a Too Faced brush with the bronzer. Their brushes are really soft and blend the product well.

Step five: Next up is that flushed cheek. I used the Sweethearts Blush in Sparkling Bellini to create that perfect coral peach cheek. The blush has a gorgeous sheen and really highlights your cheekbones!

Step six: To finish off the makeup, you need a pretty lip that looks well with the tone of what was created. The Too Faced Le Creme lipsticks are really moisturizing. I lined my lips and then used the Taffy lipstick shade to complete this spring ready beauty look. The Le Creme lipsticks have such a nice finish to them and are really pigmented and beautiful!
