We all need a break every now and again. While I sometimes may not have time for a full vacation, a relaxing stay-cation is always in order. I heard the buzz about The Time Nyack and decided to check it out! It was time for some R&R.
Located about 40 minutes from Manhattan The Time Nyack is perfect for a weekend getaway. When I arrived at the hotel, I was immediately taken in by the red glossy doors. As I walked inside, the rocker-chic decor really captured my eyes. From cool artwork featuring legends like Mick Jagger and sumptuous fabrics, I knew a fab weekend awaited.
Checking in was a breeze and my room was amazing. The bed had the coolest carved framed and the mirror is fashionista approved! I had a beautiful sweeping view of the Hudson River and the air was so crisp. The bathroom was luxurious and the Bigelow apothecaries definitely were sensuous. The loft-feel of my room was unique with high ceilings and open feel (which is great when you’re trying to escape the pressures of the outside world). The bed was so comfortable!
Next up was a delicious dinner at BV’s Grill within the hotel. The decor was sleek and modern as they played cool tunes by The Police. I couldn’t help but groove along the entire night. There is also a bar adjacent to the restaurant with a mix of singles and couples enjoying their night! The food at BV’s was delicious, I had the lamb chops and they were cooked to perfection. I ended the night with a cappuccino (of course) and creamy cheesecake.
I wound up venturing off to Nyack State Park. There’s something to be said about enjoying nature and clearing your mind. The Time Nyack gets a manicured thumbs up. The service was great, the hotel is designed in a cool way and the food there is tasty!
