Recently, I had the opportunity to host and style a Spring Trends Fashion Show: “Bloomies in Bloom” at the Bloomingdale’s Willowbrook Mall location. There are so many great seasonal trends for spring and the store is well merchandised and looks beautiful! When it comes to winter fashions, looks tend to be layered. For spring and summer, it’s good to keep things sleek, stylish, effortless, yet put-together. Upon that notion, here is a sampling of some of the looks I featured at the fashion show:
Bright Colors and Reds are really in this season. Wear them to enhance your complexion and add vibrancy to your look. This one shoulder dress by Joie and Sheer Trench coat by Tahari (Bloomingdale’s exclusive) are wonderful ways to welcome spring.
Reworking your wardrobe and wearing a wrap dress different ways is something to try. The floral wrap dress is an easy way to update your look and is flattering. From work to weekend, the wrap dress can be styled endless ways. There are some key trends we spoke about during the fashion show. Gingham, Jumpuits and Yellow are some of the ways to welcome the warmer temperatures. During the show we featured a gingham dress by Lost and Wander, a fabulous navy off-the-shoulder jumpsuit by Halston Heritage and BCBG Yellow Open Shoulder Blouse.
Denim skirts and fun shirts are a casual way to look stylish. This game on sweater by Aqua, paired with a Joe’s denim mini is a great casual date look.

From the perfect special occasion heel, to platform sandals, slides in vibrant colors, blush tone footwear and the best wedges — there is something for everyone.
