Valentine’s Day is here and it’s the best time to do something that you enjoy. I love a good book, cappuccino and taking some time to sit down and enjoy a few treats. Whether you are celebrating with that special someone, or are planning a Galentine’s Day gathering, I have the perfect outfit. This Valentine’s Day I decided to go for a pretty, yet chic look that’s really easy to put together. I also wanted my makeup and hair to be somewhat effortless but still look polished. I am meeting someone later today, so this look will segue from day to date with ease.
Instead of wearing red, I opted for a romantic blouse from Ann Taylor. The Tiered Lantern Sleeve Blouse has gorgeous detailing and is also comfortable! The coral blaze color would compliment so many different women and I love how it makes my face look. The color is cheerful without being too over-powering and I love it! I paired the blouse with a great jean and shoe also from Ann Taylor. I could easily re-style this blouse for the spring with a white denim jean, but for now I went with the Modern Skinny jean in blue denim. This is a versatile style that can be worn so many different ways and the wash on these makes them great for dressing up or down! They have an easy to use Fit Guide, so your denim is sure to look fab and flatter you.
Those extra details definitely make a look standout. I decided to wear a blush toned pump, these are great to wear into the spring and summer months! The Felipa Suede D’Orsay pumps are so feminine and the Pink Sunset color really caught my eye. You’ll definitely see me wearing these on repeat. The heel height is just high enough, but not too high for walking all day. They come in other colors, I may pick up another pair in black!
To go with my bohemian chic Valentine’s Day outfit, I wanted to keep the makeup alluring yet kind of more on the natural side. I heard about Charlotte Tilbury‘s new easy to use makeup kits, I had to try it! The Natural Glowing Look all in one makeup kit is amazing and it really worked! The set contains some of her well known products and a few that were new to me. In the set was: FACE: Mini Wonderglow, EYES: Mini Legendary Lashes Mascara & Colour Chameleon in Amber Haze, LIP: Matte Revolution Lipstick in Very Victoria, CHEEK: Beach Stick in Moon Beach. This literally created a flattering and soft makeup look. The Color Chameleon in Amber Haze was so incredible and I watched the helpful video on Charlotte’s website. I will be grabbing for these beauty products on repeat.
