When dressing for a workday, I like to keep things chic and classic with a twist! I usually will pull a look the night before from my closet and create the outfit based upon a few things! The weather of course plays a major role in what I’m going to wear, so I’ll pull up a weather app to see what the current forecast is. What the day will consist of also comes into thought — do I have to meet someone, what’s on the schedule, am I meeting anyone at the end of the day, are there any events and what my mood is!
There are some key basics that I’m really loving right now! I think taking a chic look and adding your personality into the outfit with your accessories is a wonderful way to make a style statement. If you look at this ensemble, it’s pretty simple with the camel colors, but I added a sparkling necklace from Cate & Chloe one of my favorite online jewelry boutiques. I love the way the necklace cascades into an elegant yet modern design. This necklace will be worn on repeat, so don’t be surprised if you see it again here or on my Instagram! Also, in the mix is this rose gold Kate Spade New York handbag that I knew would add interest to any basic look. These two accessories just upgraded the feel of my outfit! I also find that pretty accessories or something unique are even conversation starters!
