As a journalist, I get invited to some nice events! Once such special occasion was an evening with PIPER-HEIDSIECK to celebrate the Oscars in New York. What I enjoyed the most, besides the absolutely light, crisp and delicious champagne, was listening to Romain-Pianet (pictured below) speak about the history of the company. I love Hollywood and learning about how Marilyn Monroe favored this champagne above others.
PIPER-HEIDSIECK —the exclusive champagne of the Academy Awards— threw a grand and bold soirée in honor of Hollywood’s biggest night. The black-tie dinner at the Bowery Hotel drew over 100 well-heeled influencers from the media and hospitality realms who came to watch the Oscars Ceremony and raise glasses of bubbly—including PIPER-HEIDSIECK Brut, Rare Millésime 2002, and Rosé Sauvage—in celebration of their favorite nominees. The event was one of many presented around the country in celebration PIPER-HEIDSIECK’s partnership with Oscars.
I also was lucky enough to be dressed by David’s Prom/Bridal and wear the new Bloom Collection makeup by Covergirl. I received compliments on my look and it was really nice to wear more spring-like colors. The weather in the city has been so dreary, that I wanted to infuse some pastels into my look. It was fun to get dressed up and a special thank you to PIPER-HEIDSIECK for having me as their guest.
