Meira Lavin is the Merchandising Director and Senior Executive in Retail and E-Commerce of vente-privee. vente-privee is the fabulous online shopping destination that features great brands – from womens to mens to accessories to home – every day at 10AM EST at amazing prices.
Meira spoke about what goes into selecting styles for the site, trends, collections and her thought process when selecting styles. She also discussed the role that social media, celebrity, Fashion Week and pop culture plays into the fashion we choose to wear and buy. We also learned that vente-privee really is the pioneer in the flash sale and designer discount forum. She is witty, stylish and very informative. We will be checking out vente-privee with the fall season upon us in Manhattan as #DF updates their wardrobe. What an interesting experience — we definitely learned quite a bit about what goes on within this online shopping destination.
