When you think about the holidays in Manhattan there is one location that truly shines the brightest! Recently, DailyFashionista.com had the opportunity to spend a festive evening at Rockefeller Center with Dove along with some of our favorite fashion and beauty bloggers as we were all challenged to #TryDry. Whether you’re a Dove woman or a Degree fan, there was something for everyone to test out as we hit the ice. Dressed in my Frost Free Coat from Old Navy I was totally prepared to skate the night away. The fleece lining in the pockets of this jacket really came in handy. Old Navy coats and fleece are a favorite this time of year!
Joined by Adrienne of DailyFashionista, Melissa of Super Glam News, Tiffany of Love Grey Skies, Shareen of Pearls and Paris, Dara of The Style Senders, and Laura of Miss Laur we were excited to truly test out these products. We all felt like kids again and it was a magical night. The Rockefeller Center tree was absolutely gorgeous and the vibe was positive and fun! After skating some rounds, we realized how well the Dove and Degree Dry Sprays work. Some of us have used these before, but others were new to the product. All of us agreed that they work really well! Also, the scent on the Dove Dry Spray is really light which I appreciate. The application is easy, the results are a dry, soothing feeling and the products don’t transfer onto your clothing. The Dry Spray is a newer formula and has quickly become a #DF favorite!
After skating, we made a stop into Zara to peruse their latest holiday styles. There were so many pretty fashions and we all enjoyed looking around. Up next, were cocktails and delicious small plates at Fig & Olive. This was my first time at this city hot-spot after hearing amazing things about this restaurant. The rumors are true, this place is delicious and the service is impeccable. The fig and goat cheese, scallops and cocktails were divine!
