Whether you’re attending Prom, a summer wedding or special event, Bloomingdale’s has always been a great resource to find an amazing dress. This spring, I had the opportunity to host and style a Prom Fashion Show with Bloomingdale’s in Bergen County, New Jersey and the lovely young ladies of the Immaculate Heart Academy. Conveniently located at The Shops at Riverside, the mall here has a lot to offer.
I was really impressed by the dress selection. Season after season, Bloomingdale’s expands their collections and is really in tune with their customers. It’s that personalized service, vast selection and attention to details that I have always admired about the store. Lace detailing, midnight navy, two-piece styles, rose gold and some dresses which are 100% exclusive to Bloomingdale’s (which means you can only get these styles here) are some of the trends of the season! Dresses by Adrianna Papell, Avery G. and Bariano are some of the designers we featured that day.
My advice for special occasion dressing is this; be willing to try dresses on, if there’s a style you’ve always dreamed of wearing — go for it and take it into the dressing room. If you can bring a pair of heels with you shopping that day- it’s a good idea, don’t hesitate to ask the friendly sales associates for help. And most of all, just have fun and be you!
