Spring has sprung and it’s time to put all of those winter clothes into the back of the closet and bring out the light airy pieces. Nothing says “spring” more than the perfect party dress. #DF was on the hunt for some fabulous styles. I was on the lookout for a spring formal dress and found two incredible dresses from Simply Dresses.
The first style reminds me of Marilyn Monroe. This ivory V neck dress fit like a dream and is really chic. The vintage feel of this style really is flattering. I love the shape of this Marilyn Monroe-esque dress; it cinches in at the waist, which draws attention to the smallest part of my body thus making me feel slimmer. If you have broad shoulders the key is a V neckline. I paired this dress with a pink pump from Nine West to add a pop of color and some fun! This dress is both comfortable and gorgeous.
The second style is a Carrie Bradshaw inspired look. This dress reminds me of the dress she wore during the opening credits of “Sex and the City.” What girl doesn’t want a flirty look for the day?! The Emerald Sundae Short Lace Spaghetti Strap dress is the perfect length. This is a wonderful style for us taller gals with long legs. Simply Dresses is right on the mark again because the tulle skirt hits just at the right portion of my legs. Tulle is also really fun! The perfect accent to this outfit, are some sparkly shoes. It’s time to celebrate! With a beautiful red lip, soft waves in your hair and a smile — you’ll be sure to take the style spotlight!
