I want to start this review and be totally transparent. I never have had fillers or botox — so I really depend on my skincare to work. I’m always “ears-open” when it comes to impressive skincare discoveries and new products that will deliver real results. With the spring season in full motion, I wanted to upgrade and update my skincare routine. Just like we seasonally update our wardrobes, it’s important to also make positive changes to our skincare regime. I’ve been trying to lean more towards natural products, so when I heard about VictoriaLand Beauty, my interest was immediately piqued. The words, Natural, Vegan, Cruelty-Free, Non-Toxic and Organic all mean something to me. I want to know what’s in the products I’m thinking of using. From that point, I can make an educated decision.
I will be baring more skin as the warm weather approaches and my Neck and Chest was an area of concern. My eyes and also around my lip area was another area I wanted to target. And a cream that can be used on the face and neck combined also sounded promising and easy to use. I’ll admit that while I want results, a product that has too many steps often is too complicated. These VictoriaLand Beauty products seemed just right!
They arrived in a pretty package, neatly wrapped and when I opened the Skin-Loving Moisturizer Nourishing Face and Neck Cream and the Skin-Loving Treatment For Eyes and Lips — I was admiring the pretty packaging so I immediately placed these two products on my vanity!
After using the Face and Neck Cream, (which I also used on my decollete) I noticed that some of the fine lines and wrinkles seemed to look less noticeable. So, I went on their website to read other reviews. The reviews really impressed me. Key ingredients are: Rosehip Seed Oil (RSO), Hyaluronic Acid (HA), and Meadowfoam Seed Oil (MSO). All known for their anti-aging properties. This cream went into my skin with ease, hydrated and my skin has a healthy glow!
Next up is the Skin-Loving Treatment for Eyes and Lips. I’m happy to report I don’t have crows feet and hopefully will never have them! But I do have some fine lines around my eyes and the skin around my lips gets dry. This cream was helpful for both areas. Again, I really like the subtle scent to this cream and it sunk into my skin easily. I noticed a smoother look over-all. This eye cream has (per their website): Tri-Peptide Complex Matrixyl® 3000 which has been proven to promote wrinkle smoothing and improve skin tone and elasticity; Argireline is known as the topical alternative to Botox based on its unique ability to prevent the development of skin wrinkling; and Eyeseryl® has been proven to reduce under-eye puffiness and dark circles while enhancing skin elasticity and smoothness. Interesting! It works, so I’m pleased!
I know when I’m wearing those skin baring tops and want to have more light makeup days (or maybe even no makeup) I’m feeling more confident in how I look and feel lately. My skin looks great!
