I recently visited Walt Disney World and wanted to share my thoughts and a review on the Saratoga Springs Resort. I have stayed at Port Orleans Riverside and Caribbean Beach in the past. How does Saratoga Springs compare to my prior experiences at Walt Disney World Resorts? Shared below is a photo tour of most of the resort, minus the golf course which is also on property. The theme at this resort is based on Saratoga Springs New York, while there are Disney details here, they are subtle which I truly enjoyed and found relaxing.
When I arrived at Saratoga Springs Resort, there’s a beautiful entrance welcoming you with flags and a pretty garden. Disney always has the best gardens and flowers. The lobby of the hotel is gorgeous with a grand chandelier and vaulted ceiling. Check in was a breeze and we then walked over to our room, which was a One Bedroom Villa. A full photo tour can be found below. As you walk in there’s a nice entrance with mirror and a great place for luggage! As you proceed into the room, a full kitchen awaits with a pretty wood dining area. There’s a large living room, flat screen TV that plays original Walt Disney cartoons and a guided resort tour. We also had a ground level room which over-looked a beautiful lake. It was a great place to enjoy your morning coffee! The room also had a washer/dryer, Jacuzzi tub and walk in closet. Disney sure knows how to spoil a gal. The room was gorgeous! Next up, was the master bedroom which was luxe and decorated beautifully.
The grounds are immaculate and there are maps to guide you. There are 4 pool areas at this resort. The main pool area and a few quiet pools. The pool over by the walkway and view to Disney Springs was a favorite. It was nice to take a stroll with my cappuccino and relax poolside. The main pool bar and one of the other pools serves tasty cocktails and snacks. I ate daily breakfast at the Artists Palette and it was delicious and a great place to enjoy Mickey Waffles. Dinner at The Turf Club and Bar was amazing and the food there is so good! I had the braised short rib appetizer and chicken entree, both delicious! Our server there that night was also super friendly and offered tips for our stay.
The golf course there is beautiful and well planned out. There are also game rooms and poolside activities to enjoy! Overall, I really enjoyed Saratoga Springs and it may just be my favorite Disney Resort thus far. Another bonus was… I was within walking distance of Disney Springs which has so much to offer in dining, shopping and fun! I definitely enjoyed Saratoga more than Caribbean Beach. I will always love Port Orleans Riverside and that resort is wonderful as well.
