Ann Taylor’s new Pants are Power campaign, celebrates the brand’s commitment of over 60 years in making women everywhere feel powerful in their wardrobes. The campaign commemorates the evolution of pants not only in fashion, but as a symbol of equality for women. Since March is National Women’s History Month, I figured no better way than to celebrate with a fresh spring look by Ann Taylor! You can view their video, here.
The journey takes us from 1940, when women could still be arrested for wearing pants in public, to 2018 where women can wear them whenever, wherever. It is a nod to strong women who, in the not-so-distant past, fought for their right to wear pants that make them feel confident and empowered. I honestly can’t think of a brand that embodies this notion more than Ann Taylor. Whether it’s a job interview or important event, I know that when I’m wearing these well made clothes I look fashion forward yet timeless. Which is what I always look for in my outfits.
